A personal commitment to non-partisan progress for all Americans.
Growing up, I was fortunate to be surrounded by family members who cared deeply about our country—even when they didn't always agree on how to make it better. My parents and grandparents came from different political parties, and around our dinner table, policies and party platforms were discussed and evaluated with passion. Disagreements were common, but they were never nuclear to our family. We could argue about the best path forward and still come together as one.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of living and working across this great nation—from the East Coast to the West Coast, from Texas to Alaska. In every place, I've been continually amazed by the wonderful people I've met and the kindness that lies at the core of the vast majority of Americans. Regardless of where they live or how they vote, most people share the same fundamental hopes: a better life for their families, a fair shot at success, and a government that works for them.
I'll be honest: I've been conflicted for years about political party affiliation. Neither major party fully represents my values. Each has positions I strongly support and positions I fundamentally disagree with. I suspect many Americans feel the same way.
For Vote Movement to succeed in creating real, lasting change, I believe it's essential that we remain non-partisan. This means we don't take positions on the major political issues that divide us. Instead, we focus on something we can all agree on: making positive changes to our system of government itself. Changes that make every vote count. Changes that ensure our elected officials are truly accountable to the people they serve. Changes that help America live up to its founding promise.
This is my personal statement and my commitment to you: Vote Movement will never become a vehicle for any political party. We're here to empower citizens—all citizens—and to advocate for a democracy that works better for everyone.
— Philip Clark, Founder
We believe solutions to America's challenges shouldn't belong to any single party. Good ideas can come from anywhere, and lasting progress requires bringing people together.
Democracy works best when every citizen has a meaningful voice. We're committed to reforms that ensure no one's vote is wasted and every perspective is heard.
Our founding fathers created a document designed to grow with our nation. We honor their vision by advocating for thoughtful updates that reflect how America has evolved.
Like those dinner table discussions from my childhood, we believe Americans can disagree without being enemies. Civil discourse is the foundation of democracy.
